Kintsugi Corazon. (Kin) means golden (thug) means repair. Kintsugi is the Japanese art of repairing broken pottery with golden lacquer. Creating a beautiful finish of golden seams where the cracks once were. The floral print and texture is inspired by the Mexican textiles and embroideries. Each region of Mexico has its own textiles, patterns, fabrics, and clothing styles that represent each ethnic group's identity and culture. Inspired by my two favorite places in this world; Mexico & Japan.
